Built to
Challenge
Everything.
We didn't reinvent the tailgate. We invented what a tailgate could be — patented, modular, and built for every adventure from the trailhead to the summit.
The Basecamp System
Cache introduced the world's first modular tailgate system — turning wasted truck bed space into a functional, gear-ready basecamp. Every product we make is engineered around one idea: your truck should work as hard as you do.
Basecamp Pad 3.0
The world's only locking tailgate pad — our patented steel-cable system secures directly to your truck, while the multi-layer modular design lets you customize your setup for bikes, gear, or basecamp living. Available for full-size and mid-size trucks.

Proven by Design.
Every Cache product is backed by patented technology. We didn't copy what existed — we filed patents on what didn't. Two registered patents, one federal trademark, and a product line that's been copied but never matched.

Built in a Garage.
Backed by One.
In 2026, Backcountry launched Backcountry Garage — an incubator built to back the next generation of outdoor brands. Cache is one of them.
Backcountry started thirty years ago with two founders selling avalanche beacons out of a garage. We started with two brothers and a late-night idea at a family cabin in Utah. Turns out we speak the same language.
The Basecamp 3.0 is now available at Backcountry.com, sitting alongside the best gear in the outdoor industry. Same pad. Same patents. Same five-year warranty.
Giving Back Is
Part of Who
We Are.
Each quarter, Cache donates a portion of our proceeds to organizations and initiatives that support outdoor adventure, environmental sustainability, and community growth. Because the trails we ride and the mountains we explore are worth protecting — and the kids who'll adventure on them deserve a shot.
These contributions reflect our commitment to fostering the same spirit of exploration and stewardship that inspires our products. Together, we're making a positive impact for future generations of adventurers.

"We set out to honor a legacy and build something that lasts."
Tyler and Dillon Green are two brothers born and raised just outside the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. The Basecamp System was born from a late-night brainstorm with their late father, Jeff Green — and everything Cache has become is built in his honor. Today, Cache products have shipped to all 50 states and internationally to Canada, Mexico, Germany, and Dubai.
