We started Cache because we believe the outdoors is worth protecting, and worth showing up for. Our customers are the people out there on the trails before the sun comes up, hauling bikes through mud and dust, turning empty parking lots into base camps. This one's for you.
As part of our ongoing Pay It Forward campaign, Cache donates a portion of every quarter's proceeds to an organization that's doing real work in the outdoor and adventure community. No fluff, no greenwashing, just money going to causes that matter to the people who ride our gear.
This Quarter: IMBA
This Q2, we're donating to the International Mountain Bicycling Association, the largest
nonprofit advocacy organization in mountain biking, and the reason a lot of your favorite trails still exist.
IMBA's mission is to create, enhance, and preserve great places to ride mountain bikes. They work directly with land managers, local governments, and grassroots trail clubs to protect access, build sustainable trail systems, and advocate for riders at every level of government. Founded in 1988 and operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, their reach spans all 50 states.
Why IMBA?
IMBA educates land managers, funds trail planning and design, galvanizes volunteer trail
crews, and lobbies at the federal level for things like the Recreation Trails Program, real
funding that flows into real singletrack. They also just announced their 2026 Trail Accelerator Grants, which put professional trail design and education resources directly into the hands of local clubs and park agencies.
In short: if you've ever ridden a legitimate purpose-built trail in this country, there's a good
chance IMBA had something to do with bringing it to life.
Why This Aligns With Cache
We build gear for the truck. The tailgate pad, the camp chair, the cooler, all of it lives in
service of getting you to the trailhead and back. That means the trail matters to us. Mountain bikers are our people. And supporting the organization that keeps those trails open and growing is just the right call.
This isn't a PR stunt. It's a values decision. We're a small brand built by people who actually
use this stuff, and we think the outdoor industry has a responsibility to put money back into the ecosystem it profits from.
