Cache is at it again. 🎉
Each quarter, our Pay It Forward program puts real dollars behind the people and organizations doing real work in our backyard. It’s our way of saying thank you to the communities that make the outdoors what it is. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the wonderful activities that keep us going and innovating here at Cache.
With that being said, we’re stoked to announce our newest Pay It Forward Partner: Wasatch Adaptive Sports, a powerhouse nonprofit helping people with disabilities improve their physical, mental, and social well-being through outdoor recreation. Their vision is simple and bold: a community where people of all abilities can experience the power of movement whenever and wherever they choose.
Why this one hits home for Cache
At Cache, we believe the tailgate is more than a piece of metal, it’s the launch pad for adventure. It’s where the ride starts, where stories stack up, where community shows up. Wasatch Adaptive Sports is building that same kind of community, by making the slopes, trails, and water more accessible through participant-centered programs, instruction, and adaptive equipment.
Internally, we feel a strong connection with the outdoors, and more specifically while we are in these elements doing the things we love. One of the biggest factors going into designing our Basecamp Pad and the accessories that tie into it was creating something that can allow more people to tap into this feeling. Whether it makes your trip a little easier or a little more comfortable, we want to be a part of your outdoor journey.
WAS runs scholarship-based programs serving children, adults, and veterans, helping remove barriers so cost isn’t what keeps someone from getting outside. Efforts like these ensure everyone can get a chance at experiencing the beauty of the outdoors, and maybe even pick up a new hobby or activity while they’re at it. Now this is something Cache can get behind!
