Email inbox overload. Remain constant in my faith. Growth plans unfinished. Apply for new patents. Meet with board members. Hit quarterly goals. That "no kid trip with your wife". Boys MTB / Golf trip to coordinate. School Drop off. Need to be more "active" on LinkedIn. Mow the lawn. Sound familiar?
The list of things that go through my head often on the daily juggle that is life in managing a growing family, a quickly expanding team / company at Cache, and always want to stay on top of it all while having fun - can sometimes be overwhelming. It is at those times when I simply sit back and realize...how thankful I am. Now - how to keep it cool and keep going.
GET OUTSIDE!
Having grown up at the foothills of the Wasatch Cache National Forest (where we got the name for our company) I saw the world only in the scope of ski movies, Jack Kerouac books, and experiences I watched my badass parents perform even while managing the same challenges we face today. In high school we moved to North Carolina for my moms job and I thought that my world imploded. It didn't take me long to figure out as a teenager that the outdoors existed not only in Utah, but anywhere you can breath oxygen. I found myself backpacking the Appalachian Trail, golfing all over the southeast, and scuba diving in a number of amazing places I never knew existed.

I am thankful to say that my personal faith and the ability to get outside anywhere I live or travel allows for a simple decision to simply get outside, get moving, and be thankful. Cache is committed to providing products our customers can enjoy and trust - whether that be enroute to the trailhead, a new Taxiway Tote to carry your kids' 100000+ items to forgo meltdowns, or simply a Lounger Chair 2.0 to enjoy a sunset.
I encourage everyone to turn off your phone (or Airplane Mode), get your body moving, and take some time to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I've seen it time and time again pay massive dividends to provide relaxation, peace, and a perspective that helps put all the stresses of life into a much more realistic light.
I do always encourage that any Cache products are along for that ride, chill out, or simply helping to get you there :).
Get outside,
