Homegrown & Operated
We are a two brother team born and raised just outside the treeline of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. We’ve always had skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, fly fishing, and just about every other outdoor activity right in our own backyard. We are both back in Utah, but were able to spend a few years living and traveling around this beautiful country. What we found is that the love for outdoors spreads far and wide to those who seek to find it.
Our passion for adventure, paired with our combined professional background in sales, athletics, and marketing has uniquely positioned us to develop and introduce a groundbreaking innovation to the industry—the Basecamp System. The world’s first modular tailgate system.
It was during a late night brainstorm at our family cabin with our dad that we came up with the concept for the Basecamp system. We’d always been a truck family, and had spent many hours sitting on open tailgates together sipping soda and watching the sun go down. What if, our father theorized, we could transform a tailgate from essentially wasted space into a functional hub complete with chairs, a cooler, and more?
Well, we couldn’t get the idea out of our heads, and within a few months we had a tech pack and initial prototype ready to roll! However, in early 2017 our world came to a screeching halt when our dad, Jeffrey Allen Green, passed away unexpectedly.
After a period of mourning, we came back more determined than ever to make Cache and the Basecamp system a reality in order to bring our father’s idea to life and honor his legacy. After years of work finalizing the design and materials, attaining our patented status, and partnering with a trusted factory, we are proud to say we have product in over 40 states across the US.
Whether you’re a current or future customer, possible retail dealer, or just wandering the internet and landed on our page – we want to say THANK YOU for taking the time to get to know Cache & supporting us with your business.
